Taking the pig from the holder

Pig roast buddies
Noche Buena is a great time to renew old friendships and make some new friends. Last year, Raúl roasted an 85-pound pig for about 50 guests. We were glad to have Dr. Robert Zarranz, his wife Lisa, and their two girls as the guests of honor.

The Zarranz family have been long-time supporters of our efforts. Of course, no pigroast is complete without all of the side dishes: yuca, black beans, rice, a delicious Venezuelan salad, and plenty of fresh Cuban bread.
